Magician · Juggler · Balloon Artist
Fifty-plus years of classic magic, spinning pins, and twisted balloons — booked for birthday parties, schools, libraries, camps, and town festivals across Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
The Story
Andy Charney — better known behind the sparkle as The Amazing Andy — first stepped in front of a crowd in 1972, at eleven years old, and never really stepped off. Since then he's brought his blend of close-up magic, sleight-of-hand card tricks, juggling, and balloon artistry to birthday parties, school assemblies, day camps, libraries, and town festivals throughout the Northeast.
No two shows are the same, but every one is built around the same idea: get the whole room — kids and grown-ups both — laughing, gasping, and asking "how'd he do that?" Ask any parent which moment gets the loudest reaction, and it's almost always the same one: his rabbit, appearing from the trick box at the finale.
As featured in Orange CT Live, celebrating his 50th year in magic at The Strand Theater.
